An agreement has been reached that could potentially bring an end to the ongoing corrections officers strike. the agreement, known as a binding consent award, offers a handful of provisions meant to address staffing shortages, mandatory 24-hour overtime shifts, and suspending HALT-related programming for 90 days. COs, what are your thoughts on the deal, are you going to continue to hold the line?

After a comment by a caller early in the show about the fact that they saw another invidual alone in their car. wearing a mask, that sparked the topic of the day, masks in 2025. Do you still wear a mask in 2025, five years removed from COVID? We also start out by talking working from home. If your job allows, do you prefer working from home or at the office?

As we've fairly well documented over the past two weeks or so, being a corrections officer in New York State is up there if not in sole possession for the worst job, perhaps ever. But that doesn't mean their aren't numerous other downright awful jobs. In an effort to slightly broaden without totally abandoning the CO topic, what is the worst job you've ever had?
