Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate ahead of the Democratic National Convention later this month.
This announcement comes as Democrats rally around Harris and prepare for the convention. Walz, a veteran, former teacher, and pro-union Democrat, is expected to appeal to blue-collar workers and Midwestern voters, bolstering Harris's campaign as she looks forward to the DNC.
