A new poll shows only half of Americans think San Francisco is safe, a nearly 20% decrease since 2006. 

This comes as perceptions about the city have been dropping significantly and questions of a possible "doom loop" persist.

More details continue to come out about the conservatorship of former NFL player Michael Oher, whose story is also the basis for the popular movie "The Blind Side." 

Oher says he was duped into the agreement, while the family says they're blindsided themselves by his allegations, sparking questions about the nature conservatorship agreements and whether or not he should have been put under one at all.

Advocates for safe streets in San Francisco are working to turn tragedy into progress as more than 100 people held vigil at the intersection where a four-year-old was killed last week. Data shows that the American workforce overwhelmingly supports an overhaul, with upwards of 80% of workers saying they would prefer either a 4-day workweek, remote work, or hybrid work. And as it turns out, many want a flexible schedule so much they would be willing to change jobs for it.

State Senator Scott Wiener announced yesterday that a proposal to increase Bay Area bridge tolls is dead for the year.

Yesterday the Archdiocese of San Francisco declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy, likely due to the financial fallout of hundreds of sexual abuse lawsuits.
