Pastor Ken began teaching through a two-part message from Matthew 5:17-48. In this message we learn to how and why Jesus confronts our internal passions, cultural practices, and our social preferences.

We continued our study through the Sermon on the Mount by looking at Matthew 5:13-16. As Jesus continues to instruct His followers, we learn more about the role and responsibilities for those in God's Kingdom. Ultmaitley, Jesus points us to embrace what God created us to be and engage where God calls us to be. 

Pastor Ken began a new sermon series exploring the Sermon on Mount in Matthew's Gospel. As we looked into Matthew 5:1-12, we saw that when God's rule breaks into our realm, what we see as successful, believe to be satisfying, and trust in for security will be transformed.

In this message, Pastor Ken overviews what Biblical, Church Membership looks like. He explores three Biblical metaphors to see how we can belong to the Church and then concludes by pointing our three practical benefits we enjoy form belonging to a local church. 

When took our third Sunday to answer the question, "what does the Church do?" Pastor Ken explained how the must gather, grow, and finally, go. We "go" because it's who we are, wherever we are, and involves everything we do. 

Pastor Ken looks at the second part of your question revolving around the activity of the church. From Ephesians 4:11-16, we see the means, the marks, and the motives for the Church's growth. Overall, the Church grows by God, over time, and in love. 

Pastor Luke shares the priority for the Church to gather together. All throughout Scripture, God's people take gathering together seriously. Whether it is for worship, fellowship, or both, the Church must gather for the glory of God.  

Our third message in this series  addresses authority and leadership in the church. Pastor Ken shares how God extends His authority as a means of starting, serving, and safeguarding the Church.
