Manny and Diego are back to break down the Houston Dash’s wild midweek clash against San Diego Wave. In a bizarre match, San Diego’s goalkeeper struggles helped Houston stay alive and find goals, turning what seemed like an unlikely result into a potential statement win. But just when it looked like the Dash would walk away with all three points, San Diego struck deep into added time to force a dramatic 2-2 draw. The episode also highlights rookie Kate Faasse opening her scoring account for Houston, while Kat Rader continued her impressive start to her first season with the club. Now, the Dash turn their attention to Angel City, whom they’ll face for the second time in 2026 — this time at Shell Energy Stadium. Manny and Diego preview the matchup, discuss key storylines, and give their predictions for how the contest could unfold.
From roster chatter and league-wide storylines to big-picture Dash talk, we’ve got you covered. The new season is getting closer, and we’re excited to ride it with you every step of the way. Stick around for all things Houston Dash and women’s soccer—it’s shaping up to be a fun one.

Manny and Diego are back to discuss the current struggles of the Houston Dash. Since the last episode, Houston has lost three straight matches to the Utah Royals FC, Denver Summit FC, and Kansas City Current, extending the club’s winless streak to five games. The bigger concern is the offense. The Dash have scored just one goal during that stretch, and it came from a penalty. Houston has clearly missed Makenzy Robbe since her season ending injury, while top scorer Kiki Van Zanten has also missed the last two matches through injury. Now the Dash return home for matches against San Diego Wave FC and Angel City FC as Fabrice Gautrat looks for a response from his team.

Welcome back to the Bayou City Soccer Podcast! This week, the guys break down a pair of gritty Houston victories, starting with a dramatic showdown against Louisville City FC and a hard-fought result against the Colorado Rapids.
Houston was pushed to the brink midweek, needing a last-minute equalizer from Erik Sviatchenko to keep their hopes alive against Louisville. That goal sent the match into extra time, where Ezequiel Ponce stepped up to deliver the winner and punch Houston’s ticket to the quarterfinals, where they’ll face St. Louis City SC.
Then on Saturday, Houston got their revenge against Colorado, grinding out a disciplined 1–0 win at Shell Energy Stadium. The result marks five wins in their last six matches, a clear sign this team is hitting form at the right time.
Now, all eyes turn to Sunday’s clash with Los Angeles FC, as Houston looks to keep the momentum rolling heading into the upcoming World Cup break.

Welcome back to the Bayou City Soccer Podcast! This week, the guys are joined by Leenser Thomas, aka DynaStats, to break down a busy two-game stretch for the Houston Dynamo.
Houston opened the week on a high note with a midweek win over San Diego, then hit the road for a tough result against Texas rivals Austin FC. A big portion of the discussion centers on the scoring drought from two of the team’s highest-paid players, DP forwards Ezequiel Ponce and Mateusz Bogusz, who have combined for just one goal and one assist through nine regular-season matches.
The episode wraps up with a look ahead to the upcoming U.S. Open Cup clash against Louisville City, asking whether Houston can avoid a cup upset, and DynaStats gives his take on the best possible lineup based on current availability heading into this weekend’s matchup with the Colorado Rapids.
