On this bonus episode we'll focus on stigma related to mental health issues and misconceptions that are way too common in our society. We also talk a bit about what we can do to minimise the stigma to create an open discussion about mental health.

This is the 7cups self-help application we mentioned. We believe this is helpful for people looking for support that's free and convenient (psst, we are not affiliated with this app). Using the app, you can chat to trained listeners (for free) and also have the option to talk to a therapist (behind a 150$/month paywall). It is important to note that it's not primarily set to be a therapy replacement. Available on Apple store and Google Playstore.

Anxiety, the big elephant in the room that the majority of us are scared to address. There are several types of anxiety which are talked about in this episode, but for this part we will focus on the general anxiety as a whole and four types, Generalised anxiety, Social phobia, Panic attacks and Agoraphobia.

Eczema! Turns out it’s the same thing as Dermatitis. And since ‘Derma’ means skin and ‘-itis’ means inflammation, that gives a pretty nice primer on what’s actually happening in this group of diseases. There are a LOT of types of this, but in this episode, we’ll be looking at the lowdown on what’s common for all types of eczema in general, and also the nitty gritty of Atopic Dermatitis.
