Revive Farming Situation
. This just came out of nowhere. No CCP preview or really any warning.
. CCP flare ups and fighting back, but its unknown what kabam will do in the end on this.
So………
Why do this?
. Rich doesn’t get why the change needs to come in, like people are and were happy in game, the devs are unhappy with how revives are farmed, surely players should come first.
. if all those revives are being farmed for content then surely that means that the content is too difficult.
. Feels like a punishment to those who cant get through content with 1 or none revives spent.
. So kabam now can add in this system but they now have to nerf all endgame content but keep it rewarded well. That’s it that’s the compromise – pahahaha.
. Kabam don’t bounce ideas around the community and expect us all to just go along with it.
. What does this mean to farming Energy Refills and Health potions?
. We save revives for early carinas , like taking Starlord into Labrynth, im not doing that without 50+ revives, but under this new scheme having to wait over a month to do it – based on the new system is a big fat no.
. As you pointed out, content that can't be "Out-leveled" like the 3/4 star Carina's Challenges become basically pointless... rewards adjust?
. Kabam hate hoarding then why do we hoard units, themed months with stores, loyalty, trophy tokens, battlechips and Glory. So if its not a currency but it is a problem with everything else.
. Revive farming in low level act content is a bit silly, and I could see why they don't want that user experience. But the Apothecary and item caps have to be balanced. (Dan great point to end on to lead into the Apothecary dissection)

. No Auto complete
. Hard mode is the only viable mode to grind and is low on yield
. Seems very out of touch with the less than MSD level player.
. Less revives on offer 5 a week guaranteed, 7 ish from solo events 22 hr = 13 a week is piss poor.

. Will this create a major gap between players that could use this system and the up and comers that can't?
. What kind of impact does this have to peoples interest in the game
. How does this change peoples approach to content.
. Overall this seems to be about slowing down player progress. They don't want us blasting thru the new content as quickly.
