Back after a long hiatus due to life and various things getting in the way. Grubes decided to do a quick show recapping everything that has happened in the last 2 months between episodes. Start off with discussing everything that has happened in the college football world and the playoffs. Next episode, Cam and Grubes will dive deeper into each of the playoff games and look at each game from a gambling perspective. Next Grubes updates the NFL world all the story lines taking place plus some breaking news that occurred prior to the show starting. Lastly, Grubes touches on the MLB hot stove and all the free agency moves that have taken place.
It was a weekend of upsets. From the MLB playoffs to Bama falling to Tennessee this past weekend delivered it all. We discuss the sports equinox that took place on Thursday and how it is a gamblers dream day. We also dive into the Christian McCaffery trade to the 49ers. We do our weekly recaps and look aheads for both the NFL and CFB. And of course we discuss the game game from this past weekend and few others.

Cam is back this week and we have a lot to talk about. Cam gives his hurricane experience down in the Dominican and its wild to say the least. Then we dive into the MLB postseason and where things stand as of today. A bunch has happened since we last recorded so we had to cover the end of the regular season plus the Wildcard round as well. Next we discuss the NFL and the TNF match this week between the Bears and Commanders. And to wrap up we give some picks out and talk about the huge weekend of college football ahead of us. We have a top ten matchup between Bama and Tennessee as well as Michigan v Penn St. Its going to be a fun Saturday and that's what makes fall the best time of year.

Its playoff time in Atlanta! The Braves and Mets are playing in a huge series this weekend to decide the NL East. The Braves must win the series or even sweep to win the series. Its going to be an electric weekend at the Battery. Judge and Pujols also set home run records with AP hitting 700 and Judge hitting 61 in a season tying Roger Maris. Its been a crazy few weeks in football and we have upsets and injuries that have to be discussed. The NFL is in trouble with the Tua situation and College Football just keeps getting better each week. Two huge top ten upsets and one top 25 upset. What more can you ask for.

The first official firing of the college football season has happened. Week 2 of the college football season brought us a lot of unexpected outcomes but none more shocking than the Alabama vs Texas game. It wasn't an upset but it almost was. A&M lost to App state. Scott Frost got fired. NFL kicked off in epic fashion. We had our first tie of the season. It was an action packed week and we have to recap it all and give our takes this week. Gambling didn't start off good, at all, but we are back ready to get on the win column this week.

Trade Deadline has came and gone and it was a wild one. This week we dive right into recapping all the moves made in the trade deadline with the headliner being the Padres winning on the trade war for Juan Soto. They are now contenders and will be fun to watch for years to come. Also, football is right around the corner and the Hall of Fame game took place this week. The Raiders clobbered the Jags but we're rooting for all of those guys to make a squad and ball out. We also talk a little college football with Nick Saban stating last year was a rebuild year for his program and South Carolina is selling season tickets in Costco of all places.

Its talking season and that means the hot takes are flying everywhere. SEC Media days took place this week and the guys talk about some of the outlandish things that were taken out of context by coaches. We also dive into the All Star break and how the homer run derby should change back to its roots for the enjoyment of the fans. We also talk about Juan Soto turning down the Nationals contract extension of 15 yrs $440 mil and Kyler Murray signing his extension for 5 yrs $230.5 mil. Its a good week and glad that media days gave some topics to discuss and give our own hot takes on.

We've been saying its going to happen and it finally is! Megaconferences in college football are here. We dive into the news of USC and UCLA leaving the PAC 12 for the Big 10. We have a full discussion what this means for the future of the sport and give some recommendations on which schools we'd like to see in the SEC if expansion continues. We also discuss Baker Mayfield and his trade to the Carolina Panthers. Also, we dive into the recent Zach Wilson drama that dropped this week. Finally we touch on a top 10 NFL QB list that has caused some controversy as well. Fun week, glad to be back from July 4th and ready to get back after it with you guys.

Brookes Koepka has jumped ship and joined LIV Golf. After the US Open, it was announced that Brookes was leaving the PGA after he spent all week saying he was not going. Freddie Freeman returned to Atlanta to take on the Braves and cried a whole lot. Emotional return for everyone involved but its sports and its a business. Oklahoma and Ole Miss are taking each other on in the College World Series in Omaha. We dive into all of this and more this week.
