We go on a hard and fast tangent about Silver Dollar City, question whether or not this movie is actually The Music Man, how we both believed we could be witches because Dame Angela made it all seem plausible, and how teeny Paul saved them day EVERY SINGLE TIME. Aurora clocks in at sensible 37 on her supposed 16th birthday? Philip is cute, but boring. And let’s keep things real—THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT THE FAIRIES. You get Flora, you get Fauna, you get Merryweather. But most importantly you get the queen of all queens/ the ultimate fairy, THE MISTRESS OF ALL EVIL, MALEFICENT. An icon, we say. You get sexy lions, you get Shakespeare, you get THE GREATEST SCORE OF ALL DAMN TIME. Did we say iconic? I T S I C O N I C. Why are we so attracted to these lions? BECAUSE THEY ARE HOT OKAY. the music is fire and Jeremy Irons + James Earl Jones, along with the so many of these performances, are truly LEGENDARY. Question: Can y’all feel the love tonight? Answer: when we watch this film WE SURE FORKING CAN.
