Welcome to 2021 and Season 2 of the BDHA podcast! We're excited to kick off the new year with a new format to our podcast. We of course had to chat about the attempted coup in the US capitol by the MAGA mob last week. We then gave some of our early season thoughts on the NBA including current MVP and ROY leaders and wtf is going on with Kyrie Irving. Finally we got into our new years resolutions including investing in more bitcoin, meditating, healing stones and more.

We’re dropping one last episode from the archives before moving to the new BDHA podcast format. Toward the end of summer, we were joined by $teviePetro from Ape Gang Records to discuss the start his music career and got to meet with Money B and Cash Carlos. We then of course got into our 3 BDHA’s of the week, Brian Urlacher for making bad comparisons, Jerry Falwell Jr, the self-righteous former president at Liberty University that was caught in a cuckold situation and finally the 20 year rioter that filmed himself breaking into an ATM.

Collectively we decided that we would be a force together and here we are with the first official episode of Tea Time w/ Tay!! On this episode we discuss big baby Donald Trump and how his mom failed to teach him that being a sore loser is not attractive, how bald black men do not appreciate the art of twerking in their restaurants and how Oregon is taking the initiative to make their state a higher place! On this episode we were joined by Charlie Nichols, a humanitarian, environmentalist and a witch. We had to have her on after we saw her very detailed and informative social media post about slanted media and the biases it creates. We also chatted about about the Netflix movie “Social Dilemma” as well as the controversial “Cuties” before getting into the BDHA nominees.

We’re back after a little midseason hiatus with our best panel conversation to date! Joining us was Sarah Chowdhury, Shivani Chokshi and Ishani Chokshi to share their thoughts and perspectives on a number of issues on race including the black lives matter movement and the model minority myth. On this episode we were joined by Vanderbilt University Professor Dr. Thomas Clements. A PhD in Biochemistry & Cell biology, we picked his brain on the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, GMOs saving the world, the planned extinction of mosquitos, headless fish and science fiction writing. He’s also a big NBA and Pacers fan and wrote a fascinating piece on how different history would be if MJ didn’t retire in 1998.

Nathan Payonk, an Indiana native who is teaching in South Korea, joined the show to talk about a wide range of topics. We dove into his life in South Korea, culture shock, how their response to Covid-19 compares to The USA, the 2020 election and more. We then discussed quite the group of BDHA nominees of the week.
