NPA (and Non-Personal Awareness in general) allows you to address and shift the identifications that you’ve taken up in life; so they go from limitations to freedoms.

A large part of how we take up these identities (and hold on to them) comes from our relationship with our history.

Another way to say that is that we can get stuck in our past and our memories become our masters.

So in this and next weeks episodes I wanted to offer you a Non-Personal perspective on memories.

This week we're looking at healing the painful memories and next week how to make the most of your positive ones.

Have you ever found yourself doing a ton of work on some core issue and feeling like you’d nailed it…. Only for it to come back again?

And have you found yourself saying “I thought I’d dealt with this shit!?”

This is something that is guaranteed to get me on my rant box…

And it came up in a recent group call… twice… so I figured it’s in the ethers for a lot of you right now.

This week I’ve collated a few of my thoughts on surrendered intimacy, looking at the challenges and the joys when it comes to creating closeness in relationships.

Rather like the 7 Spiritual Questions I answered in Episode 129, you can think of these thoughts as a series of contemplations (or medications even); there’s even a chime between each one!

While they’re focused on those intimate relationships, remember that life is full of relationship and there are many levels and many meanings to intimacy; it isn’t all about the sexual side of togetherness!

I’m a great believer in the benefit of learning to speak your beloved's language.

In his book “The Five Love Languages”, Dr Gary Chapman has laid out a brilliant map that can give you real insight into the different love languages we speak.
