After getting a knee infection on Oct 7, 2018 (something that completely blindsided me), I had to stay ready for anything that happened after that.

But even while I stayed ready, I kept getting peppered with more things that went wrong. Here’s what has been happening to me that has challenged my mindset and psyche to stay ready.

On this episode of Teflon Don Positive Mindset: Nothing is going to look pretty during the construction phase. Everything is misplaced, things appear to be a disaster and it all just looks bad. Your life as an entrepreneur will have moments of “construction.” It won’t loom pretty as you better yourself. It won’t be perfect as you build your business. But you must remember that this is a part of the construction process of who you’re working to become and what you’re working to build. Don't hate it - embrace it.

It’s seen as the cool thing - living a life on your own time, creating your own life, etc. So most people make the mistake of becoming an entrepreneur with the idea to just make a lot of money. They have no real reason to be an entrepreneur other than the lucrative opportunity that possibly awaits.

Because most people chase the money, they get caught up into doing every business venture under the sun. They are misguided into thinking that being involved in five different business ventures is doing having five separate streams of income.

This episode is to give you insight on why you need to have a solid ‘Why’ and along with looking to solve a problem in the marketplace. I dive into all of my mishaps and where I totally lost focus when it came to creating any momentum as an entrepreneur. I give you the good, the bad and the ugly parts of the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey and I show you how I fixed them along the way to create success.

On this episode of Teflon Don Positive Mindset: Take a look at your top five friends. Are any of them where you want to be in the next five years? 2023 is not that far away. If your top five friends are struggling in life, have a negative mindset towards success and constantly bashing people through gossip and other hateful ways, then it’s time to spend less time with these losers and start acclimating yourself with more winners.

Winners.

Surround yourself with entrepreneurs that are about making an impact in the world. Surround yourself with entrepreneurs who create a lot of success for themselves along with helping others create super success.

Push your loser friends to the acquaintance category. You love them but you’re going to spend less time with them. It’s time to start winning in your life and it begins with who you’re surrounding yourself with. It’s time to spend less time with the losers and more time with some winners.

Don’t allow regret to chase you forever. If you consistently run away from what you are scared of, then ultimately regret will become your new best friend.

On this episode of The Real Deal Unchained: When I started my entrepreneurial journey in October 2015, I had no clue of where I was going or what I wanted to do as an entrepreneur. I knew that I was tired of working a 9-5 job and that I was going to do whatever it took to become successful as an entrepreneur.

The good thing about not knowing everything about everything was that I was open and very willing to learn everything to create success. I was like a sponge. I soaked in as much knowledge as I could to help me condense my timeframe to success.

Fast forward three years later and I still have the same thought process that I still need to learn more but it’s a thought process of needing to constantly grow. Now that I know more, I’m extremely thankful that I committed first and then worked to figure out the rest along the way.
