Do you ever wonder, what is going on behind the scenes of your favorite play or movie set?
Recently, I watched the play called, "Queen Esther". The play was full of vibrant colors, beautiful music, live animals, and elaborate set changes! I can't imagine all of the hard work and details that need to happen, on time, during each scene. It truly is amazing! The message throughout was to remind us all that we are made for "such a time as this." And to "Be still and Know that He is God."
It was beyond encouraging and so timely!
On today's episode I talk about taking that, "behind the scenes" perspective when we are feeling frustrated, confused, and wondering a whole lot about what is going on!? Let me be that good friend, to help you to see beyond the dirty dishes, the dead ends, the deadlines, the mundane, or even the frustration you might be feeling in the scene you are in! Because we all need a friend like that, to be the light! To remind us that we are made for such a time as this!!
Let's get ready --- get set --- and BE ENCOURAGED!

Hey everyone!!! Happy New Year!!
I believe that today’s topic is going to challenge you to reflect on the question – "What assignment has God placed on my heart to do this year? What assignment am I living out right now? While I am on the assignment, how can I keep the right motives and perspective when the season gets challenging?
This message I believe, is for so many people who are listening, today! I wonder, do you have a new assignment in your life?
– parenting, motherhood, career shift, in a new relationship, going through a season of building up new friendships, starting a business, or getting into a ministry?
Whatever assignment you are on, Liz Defrain, the first guest speaker of the New Year, challenges us all to remember the heart of that assignment! Liz Defrain is a natural born leader and speaker! Liz Defrain is the heart of her family, ministry, and community. She has been serving as the Women’s Director for PennDel Ministry Network of Assemblies of God for a few years now. She leads PennDel women with excellence, gives SO many nuggets of wisdom, SO humble, kind, and compassionate. Liz speaks to the heart of women and I can’t wait for you all to be replenished today!!
So let’s buckle up — grab your cup of coffee, get on your walk or run but wherever you are – BE ENCOURAGED! Let’s go!

Let's reflect on this past year of 2021! Who has made an impact on your life?
Maybe it's a friend, family member, or maybe it's music too?
Brad & Rebekah make an impact on the lives of so many which is why I wanted to bring them on the BE ENCOURAGED! Podcast! They share their story of heartbreak, waiting, and healing. They share their triumphs and hardships in our conversation, as well! They truly have a heart to serve and to worship. Brad and Rebekah work hard to bring joy and to cultivate an atmosphere that shines the light of Jesus.
It's a perfect time of year to reflect, on who's made a difference in your life, but also how God has used you to make an impact in the lives of others, as well!
I hope that you are so encouraged by my new and incredibly talented friends!
Also, don't forget to click on the links below to get some pretty incredible holiday gifts that are out NOW! And if you are looking to have more encouragement, click play on any of Brad & Rebekah's songs! It will make your day! My favorite right now, is See Your Faithfulness!
SO GOOD!
Have a great week everyone!

Where's the 'Easy Button', when you need it most? Can you relate?!
From doing the dishes, running kids around to their sports, taking on a new job, communicating in relationships, or when handling the most uncomfortable situations; I wish there was an easy button to handle it all! Don't you?! Unfortunately, we can't take the easy way out, even if we really want to! In episode # 63, I encourage you to fearlessly plow through the hurdles in life, even if there is not an 'easy button'.
For example, when you know you should forgive another, listen when it hurts, let go, face your fears, or when you need to surrender a situation (that you don't know how to handle yourself), that's why this episode is so special!
My hope is that when you listen to this episode, it will remind you that it's never too late to turn back and come home, to God's arms when we can't see past the hurdles or don't know how to take them on with grace and courage!
I may not have the round red easy button for you, but I sure hope this eases your mind to take on the day with confidence!
Oh, and one more thing, before you listen, if you feel led to rate this podcast and/or give it a raving review, it would bless my heart so much! Because that means more people can be encouraged, just like you!
Encouraging you onward,
Jackie
