    Through one-on-one counselling she helps people learn how to manage emotions, remove barriers that hold them back and set goals so that they lead with confidence. She supports mental wellness for afro diaspora families by participates on 3 boards FAMHAS Foundation; Kujenga Family Wellness and Carifika Canada.

    Alethia is a content creator, she has published articles on mental wellness and has her own podcast on Anchor FM called mindsilike, which celebrates professionals of colour in in health & wellness. Child and Youth Care Practitioner and Registered Psychotherapist, possessing over 20+ years of experience in the realms of social services and clinical support, consultation, and facilitation, Alethis prides herself on having highly developed interpersonal skills, inclusive of excellent oral and written communication.

    With a strong ability to empathetically listen, interpret, and respond through various forms of counseling and assessment delivery during interactions with diverse client populations,she possess an abundance of experience with theoretical intervention models, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, restorative justice practices, research, evidence-based practices, and human rights advocacy.
