Today, I interviewed the founder of Becoming You, Jonathan Hurteau. Jon is an Integral Coach, specializing in breathwork and nervous system training.
I couldn't wait to have him on the podcast to share his story and his work with you. As a Sensitive, your nervous system has done incredible things to keep you safe, and to keep the world feeling as safe as possible. But at a certain point, we must work with it to better understand what it's doing and why it's doing it.
For example, your friend may have forgotten your coffee appointment today. Your mind knows that, but your nervous system sends you the message - abandonment, abandoned, you don't matter. Now, your cheeks are flushed, and you go home to eat a bar of chocolate to soothe the pain of that message - no matter how untrue it is.
With Jon's work, you'll learn the tools you need to calm the body the minute you realize your friend may be late or not coming at all. By the time you get home, your nervous system is not only regulating, but you call your friend and she's horrified that she forgot the appointment. And, the next time a friend calls for coffee, you say yes (instead of thinking, why bother)!
In today's episode, I share my own story of how I came to Jonathan's work, and how it's changed my life.

Today, I interviewed Chris Gray. Chris is an artist, writer, and intuitive who has also been trained in many shamanic traditions and techniques over the years.
I met Chris when she walked into my first 'Ask a Medium' show back in 2010. From that moment, she became a lifelong client, student and talented Intuitive in her own right. Listen, as she shares stories of growing up in New York City, then moving to Colorado where her Spiritual Journey expanded. Art, writing, shamanism, healing, motherhood and Intuition all became the life and work Chris experiences today.
