The words you write or speak to others can leave a tremendous impact and create a lasting memory, either good or bad. So it's very important to choose them wisely. Be mindful of your words. Words you say without thinking and mean little to you may stick with someone else for a lifetime and alter their destiny. Watch your words and think before you speak. Put yourselves in their shoes because once the words come out of your mouth, you can't take them back. And even when you say sorry, the wounds your words created will still leave everlasting scars.
Sometimes what we want is not what we need. The ability to see things for what they really are rather than what we want them to be, allows us to recognize the good and find peace in our decisions, progressing ourselves to the future that awaits us.
"THERE IS NOTHING GOOD OR BAD, THINKING MAKES IT SO". Shakespeare breaks down perspective perfectly. For example, two strands of hair in a glass of milk: that's too many, but two strands of hair on the head: that's too little. Your perspective on life defines your attitude and the way you choose to live your life. If you want to live a fulfilled life, be successful and be happy, you must have a positive perspective. It's time to change your perspective.
“I do not exist to please the world. I exist to live my life the way that will make me happy. “ R. Bach.
This is one of my favourite quotes because it defines how to live and not just exist, Be Happy.
Are you going through life, waking up every day and feeling as if you can’t do anything to change your life for the better? Do you feel everything has been decided for you and you don’t have any choice in the matter? You can’t see yourself making a change in your life and feel stuck in one place, unhappy and unfulfilled? Then am sorry to say, you are merely existing.
Or are you someone who wakes up every day and regardless of not knowing what the day might bring, you feel happy, fulfilled, know that you decide how the day goes and know that you have control over your life and not someone else? Do you take time out to enjoy, have fun, do the things you want to do that make you happy? Then you are actually living.
Todays’s Podcast, ‘Don’t just exist, Live’, outlines the difference between living and existing and suggests steps you need to make to stop merely existing and start living a happy fulfilled life.
Be positive, let go of anger, love yourself and learn to forgive. This will surely make you feel much better about yourself. And begin to see the amazing effect you have on others. Surround yourself with positive people, people who will lift you up. Most importantly, get rid of malice, anger and resentment, and this will improve your self-esteem and increase your chances of reaching goals.
Like I stated in self love 1, No one can love you more than you love yourself. Loving you is the first step to loving another and excelling at what you do. You must believe in You. You can be the original of yourself and not the copy of someone else. Be a leader and let everyone else follow. If someone stops talking to you, let them be , God brings and takes people out of our lives for a reason.
No one can love you more than you love yourself. Loving you is the first step to loving another and excelling at whatever you do. this brings me to two of my favourite quotes: "Why should we worry about what others think of us, do we have more confidence in their opinions than we do our own?" -- Brigham Young" and "Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world." -- Lucille Ball
I love this quote, “The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.”– C. Joybell C.
Change can come in so many ways. It might come forcefully like COVID 19 or come finally like the Black lives matter protests.
