After a little break, the boys make up for it with a punched episode. Kyle and Cody lay down what all the hype is about on Horizon Zero Dawn. Kyle tells all about the new Zelda game. Cody and Greg are working on a pamphlet? And Greg explains his love of Iron Fist.

Craig and Brian discuss the novella, "Kanye West - Reanimator" by H.P. Lovecraft and Joshua Chaplinsky before they explore the gross-out festival hit film "The Greasy Strangler".

The Nerds are back after a two (or three?) week hiatus. This episode is jam packed with ramblings thoughts about everything we missed. Stick around after the politics section for the chance to win a Steam copy of Gone Home by playing our new audience participation game, NotL's Secret Answer. Remember, you can spell out the Secret Answer using the first letter of each individual questions answer. The first person to tweet the answer to us will get a free Steam game, right into their inbox!

In today's episode, Melissa lusts after Ryan Reynold's crispy banger in the Deadpool 2 teaser, we meet Mike's new puppy Leia, and Rodney....well, he shows up with a game we like to call "From the Halls of Obscurity"...Can Mike beat Bill's high score? (No.)

We keep our politics in the Lone Star State this episode. We are currently watching two state bills in Texas, both out of the Senate. Senate Bill 6 is the so-called Bathroom Bill and Senate Bill 3 is the "School Choice" bill. Please call your Senators in Congress and tell them that these bills fly in the face of Texan values.

New episodes every Tuesday. Leave a 5 Star review on iTunes and don’t forget to subscribe!

Stand up comedian Brenna Grabow joins us in The Basement this week to talk all things revenge. We kick the show off with a new segment called The List in which we all run down our Top 5 revenge movies. Then we dive into our headline of the week in News of the Dead, and Brenna takes her turn with the 7 Deadly Questions. And finally we dive into 1973's LADY SNOWBLOOD.

Video games and Jeff Lemire, what else is new. Cody talks about his Pilgrimage to Toronto, and Kyle is hooked on Horizon Zero Dawn. Meanwhile, the world is getting a makeover in Risk: Legacy.

Craig and Brian decide to make it a double-feature, reviewing the films "XX" and "I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore". Then, they explore the seedy side of justice in the crime-thriller novella, "Where the Monsters Live" by Duncan Ralston.

Our good friends Sara Cartwright and Rob Bruns are in The Basement this week telling us all about the exciting things happening with the Omaha Film Festival. They talk to us about the process of judging, and we highlight some films from this year's festival.

"What Anthony Watched" returns, we talk about original genre shows coming to Netflix in 2017, and Sara gives the 7 Deadly Questions a go.

Our feature presentation this week is Ti West's THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, but not before Kevin and Rob dig into LOGAN.

Ramzi Abed, our guest on Episode 21, was the victim of a devastating apartment fire last week. We're rebroadcasting his episode (already a fan favorite) with some additional info on how to help Ramzi get back on his feet. He lost just about everything - clothes, computer, movies, raw footage, etc. His hands also got burned pretty badly. Help out if you can!

You can donate via Paypal by using the [email protected] email.
In addition, there's a GoFundMe page here: www.gofundme.com/brock-doom-vs-apartment-fire
You can also hunt down his indie film stuff on Amazon: www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&…27%3ARamzi%20Abed
