In this episode, we are allowing Holy Spirit take root in our hearts and transform and renew our minds by taking out thoughts captive.  Based on the common theoretical and therapeutic concept thought stopping from Cognitive Behavior Therapy  which infers that thoughts, feelings and behavior are connected and one can only change behavior and actions through the stopping of thoughts.  Well, God created this concept actually, not the therapeutic world and we are going to prove it through the word of God.

This is a follow up from a previous episode Feelings Exploration.  Holy Spirit dropped more revelation on giving our feelings over to God.  What is most important to remember in Feelings Exploration is God wants our feelings.  This should be done in your daily time with the Lord!

BE BOLD

Words whispered to me by the Holy Spirit during a very tumultuous time in. my life.  These are words spoken to the earlier version of myself that cowers at the comments and actions of people in my past that validated personal insecurities that I should not and cannot be seen or heard.  If you are in a season of life that requires boldness I pray this episode blesses you with wisdom and knowledge guided by Holy Spirit.

Part II of Seeking Kingdom Therapy!  

Holy Spirit was heavy on my heart in pressing me to clarify God's plan in this world to ensure we are seeking Holy Spirit in direction for everything we do, including finding kingdom therapy.  

In this episode we explore clarification in acknowledging that therapy is not for everyone in certain seasons of our lives or if ever and each of our relationships with God are individual AND unique.  My prayer is you will truly spend personal time with God and seek your answers.

One of the things I have realized in my journey in building a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit and gaining a better understanding of God's word is the work required from me as a believer to develop that relationship to strengthen my level of submission and obedience to Christ.  It is a difficult process and sometimes I feel overwhelmed and confused which is the enemy's tired plan.  

Holy Spirit has given me strategy as a solution and I want to share it called Daily Posture Practice based on Philippians 4:8-9.  This is a series so bear with me as we walk through this scripture over the next couple of episodes! My prayer is this gives God glory and allows you to have a life filled with Holy Spirit, guiding you for a deeper relationship with our Father!

Here is Goal Setting with God Part II where we take a deep dive into goal setting and transforming it in a way that honors God's plan for our lives.  I am a firm believer is submitting all aspects of life to Him by partnering with our best friend Holy Spirit.  Get your journal friends because I am just a messenger, you are going to have to do the work!  Praying Holy Spirit sits on your shoulder as you spend some marvelous time with God walking in your purpose!

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. Proverbs 16:3

S Specific What will be accomplished? What actions will you take?

M Measurable What data will measure the goal? (How much? How well?

A Achievable Is the goal doable? Do you have the necessary skills and resources?

R Relevant How does the goal align with broader goals? Why is the result important?

This episode was sparked from a conversation in community about finding a therapist when you are a Kingdom Kid and how difficult it is to do that in our world!  I totally agree!  For someone who has been a therapist in the past, I realize how worldly our training and schooling can be and it is difficult for believers to seek and find therapy that will freely allow the Holy Spirit to move.  While this is the case I believe God is calling His warriors into the field of counseling and therapy and there are professionals out there who are following the word of God!  I give some tips on how to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in this journey!  Long story short...Ask your best friend the Holy Spirit!  I pray these practical steps will lead and guide you especially when you are having a hard time getting to that healing place and need a little help!
