“The sun is the most life giving source on the planet”
“We are meant to be solar panels of the sun also we absorb energy of the sun and its life-giving to our bodies.”
“Before antibiotic drugs were discovered in the 1930s, the medical community all over the world used the healing power of the sun to cure patients of all sorts of diseases.”
Rose Uncharted, a well known “citizen researcher”, challenges views specifically when it comes to the sun and its counterpart, sunscreen. She also discusses heliotherapy, an ancient practice using the power of sunlight to heal diseases from tuberculosis, cancers, to even skin conditions.

What is the skin microbiome? Is it linked to the gut microbiome? What are endolysins? How do they help?
The gut is always the hot topic of discussion, but today we switch gears to talk about the skin microbiome. Skin can be the “canary in the coal mine” when indicating imbalances in the body, and sometimes it takes a little more than a simple clean diet and water to get the skin back in check. Today we sit down with Skyler Stein, leader of GladSkin US, who has helped bring a new technology to the table in the world of skincare.
Over the years Skyler pivoted from private equity and finance, to bringing a brand new skincare technology, GladSkin, from overseas. This wasn’t without obstacles, as Skyler had a tough battle with Lyme’s disease and used himself as somewhat of a guinea pig for testing. Through his journey, it became a harsh reality that many who are struggling with autoimmune issues are also dealing with inflammatory skin conditions. Skyler provides lots of insight, especially on the new technology of Endolysins. Check out our timestamps below:

What is the difference between naturopathic and conventional medicine? How many types of fasting are there? Should women fast? What is a fast mimicking diet?
Naturopathic medicine is beginning to draw a lot of attention, as many find themselves dealing with chronic sickness, but are increasingly skeptical of ushering in pharmaceuticals to their lives.
On today’s episode we answer all of those questions alongside Naturopathic med student, Tyler Jean, with a “root cause” approach. Tyler begins with debunking the notion that our bodies “break” and we need external medicine to help fix and protect. Tyler also goes in depth on the different types of fasting and the benefits seen for disease.

Every system in your body is uniquely connected, but did you ever think that your teeth could be connected to your heart health, joint pain, or gut health? Not only can your teeth and gums tell you a lot about what is going on in your body, but they can also be causing some of those problems.
Today we talk with Dr. Kelly Blodgett, a holistic dentist in Portland OR who is on a mission to reverse the negative stereotype of dentistry. Not only can your teeth be trying to tell you what is going on in your body, but they could also be the trigger for some health problems like heart health or gastrointestinal issues.
"If we want people to have great oral health we have to have great nutritional health, great breathing work."
