These days we are celebrating several special feast days of our Lady - the Assumption, our Lady of Knock and the Queenship of Mary on 22 August. Fr Gavan Jennings shares some ideas in this meditation for us to pray about to deepen our devotion to our Lady and to seek her support in bringing us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. 

The Gospel of this 14th Sunday in ordinary time shows Jesus sending out the 72 disciples. We have the same mission as they have. Let us ask for the same passion for Jesus and for his People.
