Today, we get to interview another “everyday woman” and hear how God is working in her life. Sara spends the next 30 minutes chatting with her personal friend, Jeni Canaan, and how over the last year she has had to learn to have a “palms-up” kind of willingness. Life was going ok and she was in a good rhythm, though it was busy and full of challenges. And then she just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, causing her life to turn upside town. But not only did her life get twisted, her faith did as well. She wrestled with God and asked faith challenging questions like “God where are you?” She even wrestled with that tricky question when life gets crazy “God do you love me?”Support the show

Today is our Practical Application Day! Come sit with us and hear how we are trying to apply what we are learning into our own lives. See if there is a practical application that might speak to your heart and that might be a tool you can use to become more of the person God has for you. Putting what you learn into practice will begin the process of helping you break old habits and create new ones! You can do it and we want to do it with you!Support the show

The roles we play in everyday life are often unnoticed, overlooked, forgotten, deemed inconsequential, considered frivolous, of no great value or that they have nothing significant to contribute – and yet, what we are willing to draw up out of the water just might be the catalyst that brings freedom to an entire nation (or generation). In this week’s episode, we dive into the life of Pharaoh’s daughter, and how even though we only get 5 verses of her story, God uses the core of who she is to bring about the greatest story of freedom in the old testament!Support the show

Mary, the mother of the one true King! What an amazing task to be chosen by God the mother the Son of Man…to give birth to Him as well as raise Him for God’s will. Can you imagine raising your son knowing that He will one day give His life so that others might live? One would think this women to be of noble blood (which Mary was coming from the line of King David but all nobility had been lost in the years since David’s rule), she would be educated, well to-do, somebody. But instead, God chose a peasant girl whom not much is knows of. She lived in the poor and nothing town of Nazareth and was young…very young. But the one thing that Mary did have that was measured above all else was her willingness. She was willing to be chosen to do God’s will even when it meant she might loser her upcoming marriage and reputation. She was willing even though she had nothing to really offer this King. She was willing even though she was young and had not even really experienced life.Support the show
