Sometimes we disqualify ourselves from the race God has planned for us by getting bogged down with weights and burdens that aren't ours to carry. And sometimes we get disqualified for running in a race that's not even our own to run. This week, Monica shares about what it means to truly cast off the things that keep us from our own race, and the key to being victorious as we run.Support the show

It's our final episode in the Be Redeemed series, and we hope you have loved getting to know some women of the Bible as much as we have! This week, we're doing a group deep dive, where we get a chance to be more transparent and open about where we struggle, and how Rahab, Sarah and the Tamars have inspired us. It's a fun wrap-up to yet another of our favorite series!Support the show

In July 2013, Noelle Moore lived every parent’s worst nightmare. She arrived at the hospital to give birth—to her first child, a little girl named Finley—and a few days later, left with only her husband. Their daughter would never come home with them.Support the show

Life is full of seasons, just like nature. Ecclesiastes 3 talks about seasons of grief, happiness, healing and hurting, as well as living and dying. What season are you in? Are you on a mountain looking out over the horizon, or are you in the valley feeling despair? Or maybe you are in a season more of giving and serving and saying no to things you might want or wish to do. The glory is that you are never stuck in the same place for more than the time God wills you there. Just as the leaves fall and wither, new life is born in the spring. Be where you are in the moment and stop to learn and grow and enjoy the moment. Never rush the process of the changing of the season!Support the show

So often we forget that Christ has extended us grace upon grace upon grace...and when we forget, it keeps us from being able to extend grace to those around us who need it the most. In this week’s #BeFreeFriday, we talk about showing grace out of the overflow of it that we’ve received!Support the show

Sarah, whose name means "princess," was mother of many kings. How interesting that she alone only bore 1 child, and yet, God promised Abraham to the be the "Father of many nations" making her the mother of many of those nations. But Hagar, her maidservant, would also be the mother of many nations. Why? Because of something I think every single one of use women can relate to...Sarah took matters into her own hands. She didn't believe she would ever have a child and thought Hagar could be the answer giving her to Abraham to have a child. And though she was loyal to Abraham, she compromised her purity by agreeing to be his sister instead of his wife not once but twice! Again, I think every woman can relate to a time in her life when she did not stand up for truth either out of fear, lack of courage, or just plain apathy. AND YET (I love those 2 words because it feels like something exciting is about to happen) God redeemed her each and every time that she did not trust in Him to work His will in His time in His way no matter how impossible it felt. God is oh so good! Listen in today and hear how God used a sinful woman to do His work. To be the mother of the line of David and hence the line of Jesus. Do you need to be redeemed? Do you need to submit to God? Let Sarah be your inspiration!Support the show
