Humans are social beings and since the beginning of times we have been creating communities to survive . Modern society help us to thrive as individuals but the sense of belonging into a community to have support from our kind has been lost. Fortunately there are ways to build it back, and there are places in Australia like the Starlight community that took the commitment to rebuild this concept and take it to the next level. They are having their 50 anniversary next year and Jane is here to talk to us about how is to live in an intentional community.

In these times, everyone shares their happy moments on their social media, whether real or fake. Most of the time, the reactions to these posts are positive or mainly appreciative. But what happens if someone opens up herself and shows a bad mood, a sad story, or even cry?
My new flatmate Soof did it. The reactions to that post were so extreme that I asked her permission to record this quick chat and share the beauty of being vulnerable with you, my dear tribe. Enjoy!

The second part of my conversation with Roberta about how our habits impact the environment, and which alternatives can we start implementing. Everyone has different circumstances and we all need to adapt ourselves to that and make the best out of it. What are you doing?
Help spreading the seed in people's mind to help everyone understand and care about our only home.

Listen to the conversation I had with my favourite teacher from all times. She is one of my role models, representative of women on STEM, passionate, interesting, compromised, super smart, surfer and an amazing soul who I can spent hours talking.
For that reason I separated this convo in 2 parts.
In this first part you will get know a little bit about Roberta, what motivates her to start this journey and some surprising facts from the recycling industry. But there’s more than that, she brings up solutions! Listen to the whole episode and share your thoughts!
Meet Roberta Beltrao, an oceanographer with a master on Ecology and PhD in Philosophy and Environmental Sciences, who has dedicated her life into know how our human behaviours had impact the ecosystems where we live and how we can reduce that negative impact as individuals and companies.
I had the privilege to be one of her students for 2 years and there is quote from her: Everything has an impact. And she means it! She has been an environmental consultant for at least 15 years and now she is starting a personal project called:

I record this episode meanwhile we were all waiting for the decision of the winners of the National Innovation Games of the NT- Renewable energy edition. In this episode I talk about what exactly is this contest and why I keep enrolling myself into this challenges. Innovation to solve problems is needed everywhere and if you get together other minds is much more easier, fun and rich!
I believe is time to build a global community that helps each and understand each other. Since my first participation I had the strong believe that the National Innovation Games created by Paddl together with the industry support, government and sponsors is a great platform for all students who wants to make a change and change the world with ideas and actions!
The team I'm this year is named Prana Power, and the challenge is how to switch to to renewable energy communities in the NT. We are working with the Frazi and Robyn from Calvary Community Care at the Tiwi Islands, Jo from he Australian remote community services, Justine from the Palmerston Regional Hospital Health Care, and Keith from Darwin Solar. We are 3 students! Let's see what happens!!
**UPDATE**
Our project WON!! Sun Healing Homes is getting real in the NT! Stay tuned for the next episode!
We all have experience breakups and I believe we tend to behave almost the same way. Covid times, distance and craziness in general have been pushing many relationships to an end, and it made me remember a message I would wanted to hear when my relationships on the past finished. This would saved me a lot of drama...
Today I want to share with you my perspective on how to start healing form a breakup from a place of love instead of hate and resentment.
Lots of love for you all!

Many of us advocate for different causes that make sense for our beliefs. Some of us are environmentalists, marine conservationists, veganists, and more, and we know the challenges of being consistent with our ideas and living a "normal daily life." But it is possible! In this episode listen to Elisha Petrie, marine conservationist and founder of Chasin Clean Coast, and me, chatting about the perks and tips of living your activist life in the happiest way possible.
