Women in Conversation: Motherhood, Courage—Becoming Who You Were Meant to Be. “Episode 100”
🎙 Closing Reflection – Celebrating Women, Motherhood & Becoming
“This conversation wasn’t an interview… it was a discussion. A gathering of women — mothers, mentors, friends — sitting together, sharing the real stories of life. We’re not experts, but we share a common lifestyle, a shared rhythm. We talked about parenting, about motherhood, about the messy, beautiful, courageous parts of becoming who we were meant to be.
Sharon said something that stayed with me — that life is a series of things that happen. Isn’t that true? A series of moments, choices, and leaps that shape us. And when she spoke about jumping, she reminded us that it’s not a blind jump. Somewhere deep inside, there’s a knowing that the net will appear. That’s courage. That’s trust. That’s what it means to listen to the quiet voice within and finally say, ‘now.’
Deborah Sinclair brought her four+ decades as a therapist into this space — and then shared something timeless. She talked about the ‘penny drop’ moment. That instant when intuition, experience, and truth meet. It’s not blind faith that fuels change — it’s years of listening, learning, and slowly preparing for that moment when you know… this is it.
And Sonia reminded us that motherhood isn’t just about raising children — it’s about raising ourselves, too. It’s about shifting the narrative with parents and children, about courageously choosing to grow alongside them.
This episode is special — it’s Episode 100 for me, it’s a celebration of Sharon’s book, Sonia’s powerful voice as a podcaster, and Deborah’s continued love of service to others. It’s a celebration of lives in motion. And it’s a reminder of how beautiful it is when women come together to connect, share, and help each other rise.
This is what Be Your Empowered Self is all about. Real women. Real conversations. Not because the path is always clear, but because we’ve learned to walk it together.”
“If this conversation moved you, share it with a woman who needs a reminder of her own strength. Because when women rise together — so does the next generation.”
• This is your life. Go live it like it’s yours.
• See you on the path.
You got this.
You always did. Take care.
