There is only one guru you ever need to follow and that is Jesus. After that, stop looking for another guru and start becoming your own.
Someone DM’d me today and said I was their favorite guru. I appreciate the love, and yeah, I bring some real life wisdom, money making strategy, and a little West Coast surfer swagger to the mix. But I am not a guru. I am a guy who picked up a phone, shared what I know, and stayed consistent.
You are your own guru, my friend. You have the power. You have the story. You have the lessons. You have the calling.
Too many people are chasing influencers like they hold some magical secret to life, business, fitness, or success. They don’t. They just started. They hit record. They spoke their truth. You can do the exact same thing.
Everything you have lived, everything you have learned, everything you have survived has prepared you for this moment. Your story matters. Your voice matters. Your journey matters.
The day you stop waiting on someone else to give you permission is the day your life changes forever. Learn from people farther ahead. Take best practices. Get inspired. But remember they are human. They struggle, they worry, they fail, they get back up, they deal with life just like you do.
