When it comes to community something we often forget is how much we bring to the table ourselves. Come and see what happens when we look to our groups as an opportunity of "what can we bring?" instead of "what can we get out?"

Proverbs 13:20 reads: Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. While it was written thousands of years ago, it still holds true today.

God intended for us to go through this life together and not alone. Put simply, We are greater than Me.

There are a lot of lies that the world tries to convince us is true of ourselves. That we aren't good enough, that we are irredeemable, that we have no value... but what happens when we hold those lies up against the truths from God?

Insecurities can cause such ruin in our lives. So often they go unchecked and under the surface just waiting to lash out and hurt ourselves or those around us. The remedy to this vicious cycle isn't from loosing ten more pounds or making more money, it comes from putting our hope in Jesus.

It is a question that humanity has been asking since its origin but with no one sure of an answer: What happens when we die?

Do we simply stop living? Are we reincarnated? Do we go to paradise? While a lot of people and religions attempt to answer this question, only one has an eye witness account. Someone who died, rose from the dead and still lives today.

Living our best for God looks like connecting with those who are in need and building a relationship. We must build bridges and not barriers if we hope to impact those around us for Jesus!

God does some of His best work through those that seemingly had minor tasks or responsibilities. Those willing to do whatever it takes to live out God's calling on their lives have way larger impact than they likely could have ever imagined.

So often the tasks that are most necessary are the least desired. Floors have to be swept, oil has to be changed, and the dung gate has to be repaired. Malkijah shows up in the bible not for serving to some glorious end where the spotlight ends on him, but as a man who was willing to whatever was needed to complete the mission. Our calling from God often looks the same - we are called to serve Him before ourselves.
