Juliet and Kayiu compare and contrast the different nautical and underwater sets, both seen in the Summer Set Spotlight and beyond. They ask "What does it mean to be young near the shore?" and whether there's a satisfying or swashbuckling way to rekindle one's Timmy spirit as a designer, and discuss some fun facts about otters and different ideas for swimming mechanics in Magic.

"In a world of water, humanity battles against all of the horrors of the deep as what little land that remains sinks into the ocean."

Brandon aka Slayerbfm stuck around to recap Magic Camp with Tim. This is a long weekend full of Magic, and we cover all the sweet formats we played! Cubes, commander, and more.

Interested in stickers and "legacy"-style cubes? Brandon comes on the pod hot off back-to-back plays of his Chaos Cube! Phyrexian Mana, extra keywords, color shifting and more are all possible. If that's not exciting enough, there's a crazy flip mechanic that slowly morphs the cube from a C/U cube into a vintage cube! Tons to learn and be inspired by.

You loved it, we loved it, so it's back! Kayiu has picked a new group of cards from MSE Modern, the biggest format of custom Magic. He's quizzing Juliet and Adam on whether each of those cards is relevant in competitive MSEM or not! See if you can guess whether these cards are a hit or a miss.

We've got stars, witches, Mauras, heralds, seeds, guards, colorless, four-color, castles, trains, lizard bites, and dragon's breath all in the ep!

A surprising number of very angry trees showed up to our design challenge, so we line them up and hear their complaints one by one. We've got a shrub looking for a quartet, a tree looking for some snowy peace and quiet, a five sided tree, a burning tree, a seventh tree, a wild ride, another burning tree, a decorated tree, and a final burning (but in a good way) tree.

We're taking shelter under the yuletide tree to review your submissions for the latest design challenge! We've got double trees, angry trees, viking trees, provoking trees, flipping trees, trees for upper bodys, trees hands, giving trees, famous trees, and beastrees!
