  • Bears vs Browns Pregame. Justin Fields first start!

Is today the day Bears fans have been waiting for?  Does the Justin Fields era begin?  Lets hope Nagy steps up his play calling and the Oline is prepared to protect him against Clowney and Garrett.  Defensively, the Bears will once again be missing Goldman, who seems to be done with football.  The Dline needs to come up big vs the Browns rushing attack of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.  OBJ returns, but is a shell of himself, nothing Jaylon Johnson can't handle.

Brewery of the week is Ten Bends Beer out of Hyde Park Vermont and their Hovered Ridge Double IPA.  16 oz can filled with Citra, Pacific Sunrise and Nelson Sauvin hops at 8.7% ABV.  Awesome beer.

Punt the QB Podcast joined us to give fantasy and gambling nuggets.  Justin Fields 54.5 yards rushing over/under.  Big number.  Expecting big things!  Tim likes the Bears -7, -7.5 if you can get the hook.

HOF talk as Hester, Kreutz, Peanut and Briggs are eligible.  Flipka makes the case for Jay Hilgenberg.  Who can argue with that!

As always, we love the Chicago Bears and we love beer.  Go Bears!

  • Chicago Bears Week 2 Victory Review. Justin Fields about to Wally Pipp Dalton?
Live from Charlotte, North Carolina?  On the road victory review from Da Bears and Beers!  Can Fields secure the starting position and Wally Pipp Dalton?  Defense played phenomenal over the Bengals, forcing Burrow into three interceptions on three consecutive pass attempts.  For Da beloved to take the next step, Nagy needs to check his ego and give up play calling.  Will he?
Beer review from Foothills Brewing in Winston Salem, NC; their Festival Express IPA.   A juicy IPA loaded with citrus hops in a 19.2 oz can.  Pretty damn good!

  • Bears lose 34-14; Can we trust Nagy with Fields?
Da Bears lose 34-14 on Sunday Night Football.  Offense has been a long term issue, but the defense really disappointed in week 1.  We discuss Eddie Jackson, the pass rush and of course Justin Fields.  Should he get a bigger role, especially with the uncertainty at left tackle?  Should the Bears start the clock on his rookie deal?
Bears and Beers also highlight Lagunitas' Daytime IPA and our sponsor, Augie's Rock N Roll Deli.

  • Welcome Back Football! Bears vs Rams Preview
Welcome Back Football!  One of the most exciting weekends of the year is upon us as Da Bears take on the Rams.  How will Dalton debut on Sunday Night?  Will our Oline gel?  Can our young DB's grow up quick?  Who is going to step up on the Dline to assist Mack?  Nagy is calling plays again...oh boy.  Our fans will like Flipka's game prediction!
We highlight Skeleton Key Brewery in Woodridge, IL, which was damaged in a EF3 Tornado this summer.  They are in the midst of a three month brewery tour throughout Chicagoland, showing how close knit the brewery community is. Augie’s Italian Sub or Italian Beef? The boys weigh in.

Bears and Beers Previews Super Bowl 55 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Bucs.  This is Tom Brady's 10th Super Bowl and first as a former Patriot, but he is facing the defending Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes.  Will the young GOAT take out the NFL's all time GOAT?  We discuss sleepers, our game prediction and MVP prediction.
NFL Honors went chalk for the most part, with Aaron Rodgers winning league MVP, Aaron Donald as Defensive Player of the Year and Derrick Henry as Offensive Player of the Year.  HOF announced its new members and this is definitely the year of Manning, Woodson and Megatron.  Will Woodson go in as a Raider or Packer?  Da Bears need to maintain their HOF lead, so he should be a Raider!
We react to the Carson Wentz rumors.  Should Da Beloved trade for him?
Super Bowl menus include a taco bar, slow cooker Italian Beef and wings.  Enjoy the game!
