Bears Rant! episodes
- Lets talk about the roster
Forget about who is assembling the team and who will be making the play calls, lets talk about who I think should be back next year. We use Overthecap.com as our guide.
26 min - Separating the man from the coach
Since we don't have a Justin Fields performance to review, I talk about how I thought the Bears blundered the rumors of Nagy being fired and even though I feel for him as a person, his performance as a coach is not what it needs to be to keep his job.
9 min - So you want to run the ball and play great defense
The Bears had a decent number of run attempts and a good per carry average. They also had consistent pressure on the Raven's backup QB, but a single failure on a single play allowed the Ravens to make their comeback. The 1980's staple of run the ball and play great defense simply does not work in today's NFL.
13 min - Apologies don't get you the win
I give my thoughts on the NFL apologizing for multiple missed and non-calls during the game. Then I move onto Justin Fields and the offense.
11 min - Is Justin Fields "That Guy"?We look at the progress Fields is making. Can he become "THAT GUY" who makes the Bears perennial contenders?9 min

- I Own You!My thoughts on the "I own you" comment by Rodgers. My thoughts on both the defense and offense thus far into the season. A rare mistake by my statistician and fact checker. Mario Edwards' penchant for drawing retaliation personal fouls. My thoughts on the non-free play when the packers were offsides at the snap.22 min
- Raiders, Packers and RB's
I pleasure your earholes with my thoughts on the win against the Raiders, the Packer game and I further my case for no big money long term deal for Montgomery.
15 min - Lions - Fields is the Starter - Do you need a Franchise Edge Rusher?
This week I talk about the Lions game, Fields being named the starter going forward and I examine if you need to pay Franchise money to an Edge Rusher.
18 min - Browns - Arlington Purchase Agreement - Do you need a Franchise Receiver
My thoughts on the offense against the Browns, why the Bears will move to Arlington Heights and my thoughts on having a Franchise WR vs Franchise TE.
