Bears Rant!

I am back!  I start by talking about Justin Fields and his opportunity to take the starting QB job for good.  I then recap my thoughts on weeks 1 and 2.  And I wrap up with a study on how important it is to have a franchise RB in today's NFL.

In this episode I discuss the Bears bid on Arlington park, rumors that ownership may be near selling, Allen Robinson's contract, Justin Field's first start and will Aaron Rodgers play for the Packers this year.

Why I think even if Fields is a Hall of Fame player for the Bears, they may still be a loser.

Its a new League Year and the Bears have been busy...but not in a good way.

Despite controlling their own destiny the Bears lost and had to rely on the Rams to get them in, and the Rams didn't disappoint.  Now that they are in, what happens?  It looks like Nagy is safe but where do you go at General Manager and Quarterback?

I talk playoff scenarios and what might happen with Pace, the coaching staff and Trubisky depending on what happens Sunday and in the near future.

This week I take my shot at predicting who from the defense will be back next year.  Merry Christmas everyone!

This week I look at each position group on offense and project who will be back with the team next season and where they need to focus their efforts to upgrade (because they need to upgrade a lot).

The Bears continue their losing streak, prompting most media to speculate that there will be a cleaning of house at Halas Hall after the season ends, myself included.  In the past few weeks we have found candidates for President/CEO, GM and now we take a look at candidates for the Head Coaching job.

I didn't even realize until after I finished recording that this is my 34th episode.  I hope Sweetness is listening in.  Anyway I digress.  This week we continue our discussion about rebuilding the organization from the top down.  I give my short list of GM Candidates.
