As tee ball is coming to a close in a couple of weeks Bo was able to play in their weekend tournament (while it was 95 degrees) and he had a blast. Bo loves to stay busy and gets excited at whatever sport he is going to be playing that day. Regardless if it is tee ball or kick ball, soon to be football, lets just get him a ball.
Pat and Bo talk about his 2nd tee ball medal and how happy he was to get it.

Pat and Alora talk bullying, again. But today Pat talks about how he has been on both sides of that coin and how being the bully was not his thing and happy that he learned that quickly.
Also, Pat and Alora got a great email about Alora and Instagram and many points on how letting her get it in a safe and manageable way.

Pat and Bo have a great talk about some fun things that have been going on for Bo at School.
He got the Sam Davey Splash Award for the end of the year and was able to spend time with a 3rd grader playing with robots.
As simple as I may say it I this is also a bragging dad moment. I have good kids. I enjoy that.
But, Bo describes both the award and the robots in a way that only Bo can explain to you.
So sit back and let the next 6-7min of your life be entertained by Bo.

Pat and Alora get down and dirty with some good chip talk. If you are going to a BBQ with friends or family, what kind of chips do you bring or hope to be there?
They also talk about the difference between cleaning and organizing. Pat is more of the organizer where Alora is more of a cleaner. But they both have their reasons and tell you about them.
And then the big topic of our house; Alora wants Instagram.
We've talked about social media before and Alora wont stop begging us for it. We both give our reasons why she should and shouldn't but if you have any thoughts on this we would love to hear it. Make sure you email Pat to get the conversation rolling.

Pat and Bo talk about taking pictures at tee ball. The great pictures that parents all love of their small kids looking cute holding their bat, or kneeling with their football (insert your favorite sport here). But Bo is also a jokester. He loves to mess with people and camera people. I wonder how this years pictures are this year? Only time will tell.

Pat and Alora have a deep discussion about the difference between arguing and debating. You don't have to agree with every body on every stance, you do have the right to have your own opinion on it. And regardless if you are right or wrong you can still have an amazing conversation with people about opposing sides of a topic.
Sadly we live in the cotton candy world right now that every Dick and Nancy are so soft that you disagree with what they are saying they get all butt hurt.
I say keep hurting butts. Debating is fun, but you also have to look at both sides, otherwise, you're just being naive.
Confrontation is different. You are in a position that you may upset someone. Most people hate confrontation. But if you know your purpose, like standing up to a bully. It's hard, but you may just calm the situation by doing it.

Pat and Bo talk about a puzzle that Bo keeps doing over and over again learning about the United States of America. Now Bo wants to hodge podge it and put it in a frame.
Do I do that or make him keep redoing the puzzle until he understands the Whole map?
Your feedback on this would be appreciated.

Pat and Alora go in and out of conversation today because they kept getting side tracked and had to circle back the initial conversation multiple times. Does it all make sense? Sometimes. Do we make some good points? Always.
From:
All things that we have to deal with as humans or our whole lives.
But life wouldn't be fun with out it.

Pat and Bo talk tee ball today. It is that time of the season and with a swing and a miss last year since it was cancelled Bo is more than excited to be playing again.
He loves to hit, as do most kids, and on defense he likes the pitcher mound.
We will see, I see him as more of a catcher type.
But that is just wishful thinking for dad.

Pat and Alora rip down some random topics today like "is math blue or red?"
Also how do you celebrate others and why does Alora hang out with mom and dad and they're friends?
Because we're the coolest, thats why!
Communication with your kids and parents are a huge thing. If your parents don't know how you are feeling then they wont change. The same with your kids. You have to talk to each other to have. a healthy and happy home. Its gonna get uncomfortable, but guess what?
Welcome to life.
