Mike reaches out to Coach Beast Elise to check in on his weight loss, weight gain, and fitness journey. Long term listeners would know that host Mike struggled for years with his weight and his overall physical fitness. He has sustained many injuries in his life and his go to recovery has been to sit on the couch and eat potato chips. Mike was down over 105# this year and is checking back in with his coach for his continued transformation. At one point when he was at his most weight loss he was looking sick. Elise and Mike talk about healthy diet as she is now a certified nutrition coach as well as physical trainer.
Elise specializes in injury prevention/assessment. We should start to see more follow up episodes with her checking up on Mike's progress.

Today is the second part of special series of episodes where Mike James and Matthew Saylor discuss their amazing transformations. Mike lost 100# in 2020 and Matthew dropped from over 520# to a very healthy and agile 200. Matthew has worked so hard to lose the weight and now needs your help to remove the excess skin.
This episode focuses on the How as the first episode focused on the why.
Today Pretty Mike James has Hazelanna McMahan from Summit to Swamp back on the show. Shes announcing that the 2021 event in Randall WA isn't cancelled. Just something different. Over the past few years her OCR has been evolving into a bigger and more complex event and with COVID still making a mess of many people's daily lives she decided to simplify her event and host it as Summit to Swamp Obstacle Mud Run FRIENDS & FAMILY DAY. There will be no planned elite heats, timing chips, etc. She's opening up the course for you to come have fun on. It's a free event this year with an option to make donations if you are inclined. If you want to challenge a friend on course you can either do it head to head or we may have some interesting ideas on how to run it.
With this event being free the workforce to build the course is volunteer. This also means that is you have some strange idea for an obstacle in your head, you may just be able to come out and make it for your friends to try out. We will be helping with work parties March 27th, April 3rd,10th, and 17th. If you want to help out reach out to Hazelanna or Beastnet.
