After being a hit at indie film festivals like Sundance, SXSW and Tribeca Film Festival, MICHAEL GOTTWALD's truly independent film found its fans. They told their friends, family and even exes and, soon enough, Gottwald and (his team) COURT 13's little film was enjoying a Hollywood ending. Beasts of the Southern Wild was up for the Oscar for Best Picture, after just winning Cannes Camera D'Or prize.
