This week's episode is dedicated to Liz's big sister, Daraya Green. Daraya passed away in 2011 from Sickle Cell Anemia, which is a blood disorder that primarily affects Black and Brown people. We discussed stats associated with the disease and how Liz's family was personally affected by it. Then, we talked about Breonna Taylor and how her killers weren't charged for her murder. We also talked about Eden Estrada, Jaslene Busanet, and Joslyn Allen, who are three transgender women who were attacked in Hollywood and how we can all protect ourselves as Black women.
