Beatnik Turtle's Song of the Day

We'll all get old someday...

This is a live version of the original on The Cheapass Album. We also recorded a strange "operatic" version a month back.

Originally written and recorded for a music class assignment in 1989, Tom revived this song and reproduced this version for The Song Of The Day. The addition of Randy's saxophone and Tom Susala's fretless bass made this a serious improvement over the original.

This is the demo to a song from our Cheapass Album about the Cheapass Game, Buttonmen. The dance remix of this song was previously posted here.

Happy No Pants Day! Beatnik Turtle had taken to wearing no pants long before we learned about No Pants Day. They asked if they could post this song (which takes Robert Goulet's bloated version of "To Dream The Impossible Dream" as its inspiration).

No pants Day is certainly a cause that we wholeheartedly support. In fact, we're looking to start a "Pants Day" for those who take the holiday too far and continue to wear no pants throughout the year we always do.

All of you probably know someone who needs to hear this song. The original studio version is on our "un-holiday" album Santa Doesn't Like You. This one is from our recent Beatnik Turtle Live album.

Daaaaave. Come out, come out, wherever you are.

Ummm. We forgot what we wanted to say about this song.
