Beautiful Mistakes

I sit down w/ Arone and Aron from Buke and Gase to talk about their distinct brand of music, topics that might concern someone trying to get started in music making, and why wasabi peas and flamin' hot cheetos are delicious.

An interview with film maker Tom Ford, who discusses his transition to film making , how to get started, and other good stuff. Tom is an awesome guy and was a great contributor to our 2012 Film Night -- we talked to him in his hotel lobby before he had to catch a flight back to LA.

Preview of our interview with Laura Erickson, the featured artist for the third issue of the magazine. We discuss how Laura got in to painting and some of her works.

This week, we revisit our conversation with Chris Hamm; we talk about his writing method, Judaism, political discourse, treating people like people instead of idiots and more!

This week, I go back to my conversation with Marisa Butler. We previously talked to her about her work with the Coalition for the Homeless, but, as she is the kind of person who is involved with a lot of stuff, we talked about a lot of other things too, including; living in New York, joining an art co-op, sound sculptures, my awkward jobs in college, if President Obama smells like smoke, and others! Enjoy!

To celebrate my son Levi's first birthday, I do a handful of readings from my journal, discussing my thoughts from when I found out my wife was pregnant until just a few weeks ago.

Wherein I read two pieces (the ironically entitled 'Untitled' and 'Reset') as way of explanation of the PodCast's hiatus. Not exactly explicit language, but not exactly restrained either. Enjoy!

Wherein I update you in regards to what we are currently working on, and I potentially mention an upcoming 'event.'Also, if you stick around to the end, I pretend like I can compose music. Awesome!

A preview of a conversation I had with Brandon Hodge, owner of Monkey See Monkey do in Austin, TX. I spoke to Brandon for an upcoming article about local bookstores and how they affect their communities.

Wherein I read a piece entitled 'Time Capsule' and (very) briefly speak about memories from Sept 11.
