While processing her pain and loss she started to read through some old journals and saw a pattern of behaviour she later came to realise was that of a narcissist. She shares how she an empath made it easy for him, a narcissist to keep his secret hidden so well and to keep living his life of duplicity.

Annie remembered a life of freedom and enjoyment for herself at school. As a mother helper at her daughter’s kindergarten she couldn’t find that for her child. The teacher’s requirements for assessment and creating a perfect portfolio placed demands on the children that didn’t sit right with her.Her daughter’s kindergarten portfolio came home perfect!! However, Annie knew she couldn’t colour in the lines. She wondered who had done the work.
After a period of having her daughter at home and trying to bring school home, she noticed that a flow of learning was happening without her planning and directing everything. Listen to her story of the “Road to Unschooling”.

Mina Cho makes a powerful decision to face her fears and improve her public speaking skills. Mina joins Toastmasters, a group where you find a supportive place to develop public speaking.
Mina though is not a native English speaker but chooses to put herself in the place of discomfort to grow in this area. She has continued to stretch herself and this year she did something that she feared, that made her uncomfortable.
Her desire to improve and grow in her public speaking has had benefits well beyond public speaking. No spoiler alert here, you’ll have to listen to find out the extra bonus that comes from joining a group which stretches you, like Toastmasters for Mina!!
