As a creative writer of a fiction book, I gain inspiration and ideas for my work from many forms in life, as well as in a few vivid dreams.  One form of inspiration for one of the main characters of my book The Glass Floor  (Gabrielle)  was through the prologue of one my favorite books by a well-recognized international writer Paulo Cohelo, The Alchemist.   Here is the Prologue.
