A few days ago I thought about where I can go for hive marketing and meet some really interesting people, so I thought about Universities so I started thinking which of university I would visit and Lagos State University Ojo came to my mind.

I went ahead and printed more fliers to make our work easier for us, then picked a date to go and meet the student, Mondays are the best day to go for marketing at schools because almost every student will be at the school premises.

I woke up in the morning, had my bath, and got dressed on my Hive-branded shirt, I took a bus and headed forth to the University of Lagos.

This Campus is located at Badagry Expressway Lagos State. and its far from where I live so had to make a brief tour to the school.

On getting there they were having their matriculation today and everywhere was so busy, I was sad thinking I won't get anyone to talk to and onboard, but with extra I was able to get five people onboarded.

They downloaded ecency app and they were thought how to start creating short content on #ecency immediately and they really loved it.

They also got to learn how to upload profile pictures and set up their account tho it failed due to network issues I guess..

Just after onboarding and mentoring them, in search of other students it started to rain and we couldn't continue, we left and promised to return next week Monday with the motive of onboarding more students and give more training on how to create long content to the newbies that came on board today.

It was late in the evening, so it was time to find my way back home.

Greetings to my lovely friends, it's another Monday, and we are gradually getting fully ready for Hive training at Hubmore supermarket.

In my last post, I mentioned the reason why Hubmore supermarket is my first choice for hive training: the space is not too large, but the location is the attraction.

Setting up for Hive hub

With the motive that people will want to learn more about Hive and there will be a need for them to sit down and listen to what Hive is all about, I started by getting four plastic chairs that will be placed at the front of Hub More Supermarket for just a few hours that will be needed for training newbies.

Each of the seats costs 7,500 Naira, which is equivalent to 4.5 HBD, and that takes us to 7,500 multiplied by four, which is 30,000 Naira, equivalent to 18 HBD.

Next move

Fliers, stickers, and a banner are needed; branding makes the work easier.

After getting the seats and setting them up I went to the printer for the printing of banner stickers and fliers.

After printing, I will have to move around to invite people, teachers and everyone to come join us every Monday from 1 pm till 5pm for free Hive training.

Why the move

Hosting Hive training is very necessary because thousands of people don't know about Hive, most of them waste their time on other social media platforms, so having training about Hive will be highly welcomed by such people.

Marketing at some high institutions is part of the plan; interested ones will take the step to come and learn about Hive.

When I read about HIVE hub I was very excited, tho I knew it wasn't going to be easy but I knew it was going to bring more mass adoption of hive.

A few days back, @starkerz reached out to me asking for a listed business that will be available for Hive Hub, and I told him that I would give feedback on that because I have to do some inquiries to be sure of my choice.

There are so many listed businesses, but most of them have limited space, and that makes it difficult for them to accept additional events in their limited space.

I took my time to move around most of the listed businesses, and finally, I was able to get the approval of @hubmore supermarket.

Happily Hubmore supermarket is located in the heart of Aguda Surulere Lagos state and will be very easy for anyone to locate, and also the traffic around that location wilo help to have more people who will work in to ask about Hive.

I spent five hours today at Hubmore supermarket in line witthe Hive hub direction, and I was happy to onboard @georgeneer and used @checkinwith.xyz to check her in, I delegated some HP to her to allow her perform her task on hive

She got to learn how to create long form content, I helped her set of her profile and created short form content which is the to first task .

Using the two hbd gifted to her after I approved the check-in I sent three more hbd from quikswap to her wallet to enable her carry out her first transaction with HBD at Hubmore supermarket and got discount, she got to understand how she can shop in any listed shop and get discount using hive keychain app.

She was able to download and store her keys as I highlighted on how important those keys are and why she should keep them safe

Branding is very important, to create more awareness and attract more interested ones.

Things needed

There will be at least five hours opening for hive hub at Hubmore supermarket and that will be on Mondays, subsequently there will be hive meetups as more people join hive.

It was another successful workshop day for me. Getting people to use hbd for transactions has been my focus of onboarding and Mentorship on the Hive platform, while the newbies have the opportunity to learn more about Hive, and earn while they learn on Hive.

Last two weeks I hosted a workshop at Iyaneri off Badagry expressway Lagos state and I was able to onboard 3 new users and they have been trying their best to be active on Hive

Last week, we agreed that I would visit them today to host a workshop at Bokku-mart, and it was a successful workshop.

Despite the distance am always grateful to see the turn out of my fellow women who want to join the blockchain and build a better future for themselves.

Using the SpendHBD onboarding system I onboarded 4 new users today including the security guy at the supermarket, it was just so fun.

After onboarding we moved into mentorship and practised how to shop with HBD.

I founded their wallet in Addition to the 2 hbd that was gifted to them through the @checkinwith.xyz, and they shopped and got a discount.

This was their first experience and they were so happy to get the gift, and this served as a motivator for them.

@amara24, @suremercy, @sarahbaby @preshy007 had the opportunity to try out their first waves and also learned how to add beautiful pictures to their short contents.

During the Mentorship they mentioned a very big supermarket that they always get something and that happened to be the supermarket I couldn't list during my last visit, so with the consent of the business owner I was able to list Ellason super store

Ellason super store is located at a very busy round about at Era road of Badagry expressway Lagos state, it's a super store that sells variety of groceries, toiletries, babies, gift items, cosmetics, frozen foods like hot dogs and fries.

We will be hosting a workshop at Ellason Superstore on 6th October 2025 and we are also going to onboard as many customers as possible who will come join hive and enjoy what everyone on hive are enjoying.

Greetings everyone, I am pleased to announce that I hosted a successful workshop with Clean Claire company customers yesterday.

I can't put all my efforts into writing, but I can tell you that I am so excited about the results I am getting. Yes, it's not massive, but it's a step to massive adoption because from one person, you get the attention of ten, then hundreds and thousands.

The workshop is always essential because it is the opportunity to give a total breakdown of what you are presenting, and get the viewpoint of your listeners, allowing them to ask questions and then provide valid answers.

Workshop is not just a day thing, it's a constant process because we expect more people and that includes more explanation about what you are offering.

Preparation.

A convenient time and a convenient location are needed to have a successful workshop. My spendhbd T-shirt and banner have a role to play, so I got them ready. There was a need for hbd for first transactions, and I also got that ready.

The next thing was for the people to agree on the chosen time for the workshop, which is quite challenging because they all came from different businesses and also have so many things on their timetable, but finally I got some who agreed for this week, while the others will be available for the next workshop.

This sounds funny to everyone on set because it's not heard or seen anywhere that you earn as you spend up to 30% or more.

"Someone is about to scam us" one of them said.

But after lots of explanations, it became a bit clearer.

I explained the process of spendhbd transaction through the use of v4v.app and the hive keychain app where you scan the QR codes and make payment then go to #distriator to claim cashback.

The workshop included teaching them how to create short contents on waves whenever the have time, I also highlighted on the importance of saving from what you earn for the future and a few reasons why that it necessary.

I listed the business and onboarded two customers who were ready while others wants some time to think about it, I onboarded @ekeson and @martany.

They bought goods worth over 20hbd each and I funded their account through @quikswap and we practiced how to shop, pay with HBD and get cash back.

I also mentioned other listed shops they can also shop with HBD and get a discount, we took pictures and videos.

Using the @checkinwithxyz I experience set back, I couldn't approve the newbies and I was also finding it difficult to onboard due to network, I reached out to @starkerz and @sagarkothari88, I was also happy that @meno gifted the newbies, the quick response also helped the newbies to see how legit spendhbd project is.

Yes yesterday was all fun and hopefully it will continue as I hope to host more workshops with other customers and marketers of Clean claire company, with the motive of helping them grow and also attracting mass adoption for spendhbd.

Am out for spendhbd project and will keep trying my best, kudos to our organizers.

Good evening, everyone. It has been a while, but I am here once again, and I want to share with you guys my unexpected snail farming journey. I don't really know much about snail farming, but I started this out of compassion for those little creatures.

Last week it rained heavily and everywhere was so cold, so I stood up and went to lock up my windows to reduce cold in my room, I looked out from the window and I saw hundreds of little snails looking homeless, I quickly rushed out to check why they were all out, So I noticed that there is water collection inside the bush close to my window, so they all came to where they could see dry land, and looking around there is nothing they can eat.

I felt so bad, and as I looked closely, I felt they were very hungry, I quickly went inside and checked. I had some leftover vegetables, so I decided to pour them out and see if they would eat them.

From my research, I found out that they love green vegetables, carrots, banana pods, watermelon, and other fruits and vegetables.

I left them and went to bed. I didn't want to cage them because I sensed that they would come back to the same place because of the food, and my assumption was correct.

Then the second night, I also looked out and saw them gathered in the same spot I served them food. I felt so emotional, I already had some banana pods for them, so I went and poured them out.

The video shows how happy they were when they saw that I had some food for them, and I was also very happy because I was expecting them to come back, which was the reason why I kept food for them.

Since I now know that they come around for dinner, I have to make plans, get what they would have for dinner before they come.

It's not up to a week, they are growing so big, am still considering what to do next with these creatures, in this part of the world people just take care of them with the motive of having them as food.

Yes I have read a lot about what they eat but I want to see if they can try something different, yes I want to see if they can have bread as dinner, that sounds funny 😄 but I want to be the first to record that I feed my snails with bread.

I already served them vegetables for dinner because I don't want them to go hungry tonight but I dropped some pieces of bread and am paying attention to see if they would love it.

If they eat from the bread, I will tell you guys tomorrow evening.

Greetings to everyone, it was a splendid week tho it has been raining almost everyday, I can say for sure that I achieved something on spendhbd project, because I have really learned new things this week, i have seen a bit of how bulk buyers would help spend more hbd.

My motive on return was to see how I could increase transactions in the businesses I listed, most businesses do not really have the time to speak to customers and spendhbd, so I still have lots of job to do to increase hbd transactions in listed businesses.

Earlier I mentioned listing wholesale shops and onboarding wholesale shoppers because that will make a great impact on hbd transactions.

So I have visited some wholesale businesses, some declined while some asked me to return back in two weeks, digital money transactions is not and everyday thing in Nigeria so some are still scared when they hear about it.

In just five days, over 100 hbd was spent in my listed businesses, I listed a wholesale business and I onboarded 3 new users who are just here to shop with hbd alone.

To achieve this goal, I had to search for old shoppers like @beccatessy2 who have not been shopping for a while now, searching for her help me to get new shoppers which is what makes me happy.

I also helped other shoppers to rectify the issues they are having with their phones that has stopped them from shopping for a while.

Supply chain helps to increase efficiency of a business, with suppliers hbd transactions will get to as many customers as possible, suppliers will take this project to their door steps, this will increase sales which results in business growth, so I am on the lookout for suppliers who will help buy products in bulk from wholesale businesses and distribute to retailers.

I will also search for more old shoppers who are inactive to see how I can help them become active again so that there would be increase of hbd transaction, then resume marketing at university of Lagos state where I will get not just shoppers but content creators.

We have to try out different strategies just to make sure the spendhbd project gets mass adoption in Nigeria.
