God's goal for his people who are saved by grace is that they be conformed to the image of Jesus - that they become good people reflecting his own perfect goodness. This is a lifelong process of growing in Christian virtue. In this introduction, we set out the theological foundations for pursuing growth in Christian virtue while avoiding traps such as moralism.
