*Potential Trigger Warning
Anything from a flippant comment taken the wrong way, to a catastrophic event can cause trauma, it's your emotional response to the event and how it impacted you that will determine it.
Trauma can lead you to create beliefs about yourself which can be unhelpful and even painful, often impacting on your day-to-day actions. For women in business, this could look like the feeling of not being good enough, being low in confidence or feeling like an imposter.
In this episode I chat to trauma and mother wound expert and coach, Brooke Bownes about her own experience of having a narcissistic mother, and how years of abuse impacted her life. But mostly, how she managed to overcome her adversity and use her own experience to empower other women in business on their journey to recognise and heal their own trauma.
