Jason Michelson always wanted to work in college football and he achieved that quickly after starting as an intern at the University of Notre Dame. He spent 8 years at Notre Dame watching some of the biggest names in football walking up and down the halls, mentoring some of the top college athletes and each day excelling at his career. After getting married and having a family his goals changed and he wanted to make a change. Longtime family friend had launched a sparkling tequila brand and Jason thought, why not give it a shot. While they were supposed to be competitive as they went into the draft, the two instead became connected for years to come. Today they both have successful wineries, Drew's in his home state of Washington and Rick in Northern California where he spent a few years playing and connecting with wine enthusiasts and wine makers.

We discuss with them the details of their draft day, Drew's families first trip to NYC for the draft and why Rick opted to stay home in Indiana for the big day.
