Hello,  listeners! In this week’s episode, we revisit the topic of rewriting. In our first season, we shared our own experiences on how we approach rewriting our plays. But this time-- we want to hear what other playwrights had to say and posted this question on Twitter:
Playwrights: How do you know if your new draft of a play is going to be better than the previous draft? How do you know if you're making the right edits? Is it all trial and error or instincts? So curious to know your thoughts!

Every month, we pick a play to discuss and this month’s play is "Kim's Convenience" by Ins Choi. To make it even more interesting... we also watched the TV version of the play! We discuss what we noticed, what we liked, and questions that came up while reading the play AND seeing the pilot episode of the show. Note: There are some spoiler alerts! We highly recommend you read the play before listening to this episode!

We wanted to celebrate our 100th episode by bringing onto a show another fellow theater-loving playwright and podcaster... It's BRIAN JAMES POLAK! Brian was born and raised in New Hampshire and currently resides in Chicago. When not writing plays, he can be found working as the producer and host of American Theatre magazine's "The Subtext," a podcast about what makes playwrights tick. He received his MFA in Dramatic Writing from the University of Southern California, School of Dramatic Arts. We're so fortunate to chat with him and listeners, buckle in because Brian is an incredible storyteller. You're not going to want to miss this episode!

Hello, listeners! This week, we will be discussing a topic on writing resumes and CV. What is the difference between the two? Why is it important? Should we even have different versions? What should be on there? What do we add on our resumes specifically for a writer? What does that look like? A lot of questions so be sure to listen in!Â
