Listen to me, Venice, and my cohost, Heather, as we talk about perceptions of teachers in China
The topic for the Podcast session is: How to take care of yourself: making empowered decisions and how they can lead to you transforming your life. Guest Speaker: Cecile Johnson Semaj
“A lifelong interest” is how Cecile describes her affinity for health & wellness. It led to starting the gym at 16, attending courses on medicinal plants of Jamaica, organic farming, soap making and a variety of other activities in between. She created Wellness Week for her staff in 1998 to help them focus on being healthy, wealthy and wise. She tries to stay aware of emerging trends and recently created a 21-Day Self-Care Challenge for a group of friends because she thinks it’s important to take good care of your body, mind and soul EVERY day.
