In today's conversation on Becoming Her: Raw & Real, we ask the question, why does it take courage to heal? Joyce's answer is simple: grief requires an excavation of self.
In the dictionary, the word "excavation" is an unearthing, uncovering, and revealing of something under the surface. In an archaeological dig, it require exposure, processing and recording of what remains.
So how do we know if we are broken? And if we ARE broken, where do we even begin to process and heal? Is this "excavation of self" even worth it?
The short answer is yes. Let God build back beautiful.
