We went a little long because discussing surgeries including a hysterectomy - and how you really FEEL - physically and emotionally through Walker’s journey as well as navigating being a step-mom.

What most didn’t know about me until March 2020 when my first book was released, AWAKEN – Discovering Yourself Through the Light of Your Innocence, is my journey of healing, self-discovery, to not be broken by but rather seek to transcend the environment of my youth. We go into depth about very challenging homebirths after c-section, losing a baby at 17-weeks and her amazing and beautiful experience at the hospital within that loss, (finally) having a girl and the surprise party her husband threw her, and how to have a more connected c-section for her last pregnancy. We also covered breastfeeding difficulties, feeling rejected, and getting through it.

Side note for what to do when someone has a baby - bring food, take older kids, and help clean the house (please).

-I'm a mom of 4 kids. 10 and under

-I've experienced 2 c-sections and 2 home births

-I've had 2 miscarriages (one of them at 17 weeks gestation)

-I struggled with breastfeeding with my 3 boys, tongue-tie, breast aversion, and milk supply prob

-I advocate self-care for moms and prioritizing their needs SO they can be less stressed and become the calm and patient moms they desire to be.

-I teach stress management and emotional regulation to mamas.
