Becoming Today with Rochelle Jeanette

Yesterday we spoke a bit about “My Revival” and how this 11-day journey has reinforced my calling to be an ambassador. An envoy of all the possibilities that exist for ourselves and each other. To be  an emissary of what we should expect and where to seek (and receive) the answers.

I mentioned we can all find them, but first there is something required of each of us. To take a proverbial leap of faith. That’s where we are leaping to now, here on” Becoming Today”.

Earlier this year I shared with many of you about an unexpected road trip I took. At the time and as we'll explore once more in a few moments I came to realize this was "My Revival".

I want to revisit that journey with you today as it has had a lasting impact on me, that has brought about profound positive changes. Including some major shifts that I'll begin to share with you next week.

It’s been a very busy time here at “Becoming Today”.

Since we’ve each on our own walk and collectively along our shared path have been ushering in a time of Transformative Tradition, I thought today in order to ensure our continued forward momentum we should look back at some of the insights and steps we’ve been discussing.

On our shared path of “Becoming Today”, change is the one constant. We must always be willing to embrace the idea, to seek to better ourselves, our families, our communities and society in general.

Where there is risk, there is always the potential for reward. We must choose to act in those moments and not react to circumstances that develop from our lack of action or the outright refusal to act, decide or choose.

As we progress together along this path of “Becoming”, I’ve mentioned the concept of Self-Care quite a bit. So today let’s explore what it is, what it is not and then offer some helpful and hopefully fun suggestions for you to embrace in your daily rituals.

Before we can accelerate into our future, we need to carefully and thoughtfully put things in reverse for a moment, back up, and unload, so we can continue on with plenty of space for our new attitudes, understandings and development.

You can not create a state of “Becoming”, if you aren't willing to let the former or current  realities go. Letting go of the old  is our shared focus now on “Becoming Today.”

While it sounds like he should ride in on a  fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust, and a hearty "Hi yo, Scripture!" - Agur The Mysterious without a faithful Indian companion, is a daring and resourceful interpreter of wisdom who led the fight for truth and justice  before the birth of Christ. Nowhere in the pages of history can one find any real  proof of him.

Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear. From out of the past come the thundering declarations as Agur the Mysterious rides again!

I’ve been guilty of it. At times I really did deserve the title of Stubborn Fool, however I’m here to testify that we do not have to wear that label forever.
