t’s important to not only read, but also pay attention and obey the signs. Just like some you may encounter along the road, not doing so can affect our travels..
A few examples include, “Rocks Falling”, “Deer Crossing”, “Slippery When Wet” or even “It’ll Do Road”.
While not a discussion of traffic regulations, in a sense we are undertaking a study of some of the rules of the road. At least the ones that govern our shared path here on “Becoming Today”.

For some reason whenever I hear that word warning, I hear it as a phrase.
“Warning, Warning! Danger! Will Robinson.” Then I see that robot flapping his arms around.
While today’s conversation has nothing to do with androids or artificial intelligence, our discussion will focus on the dangers of not seeking wise advice that’s been available throughout the ages.

Then I wondered what was on Solomon’s mind when he came up with verse nine? “It’s better to live all alone in a rickety shack than to share a castle with a crabby spouse!”
Which is also a lot like he repeated in verse 19, “It’s better to live in a hut in the wilderness than with a crabby, scolding spouse!”.
Both can be described as ‘if mama ain’t happy nobody’s happy!” Or another common saying, ‘happy wife, happy life’. However ladies remember it works the other way too. We have our responsibility to wisely maintain balance and peace in the home.

Today’s reading is titled, “God Is the Source of Wisdom”. Like yesterday’s chapter it is short to the point quotations about wisdom. In fact we can call these one liners as every verse is a single sentence. Let’s read together,...

...Much of today’s chapter is short to the point observations. If it helps, you may want to hear them in the voice of an observational comic. Someone like Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Engvall, Jeff Foxworthy or even the late Andy Rooney...

I want to thank you all for being here today. Whether you’ve followed this series for the past nearly three weeks or if this is the first time you are joining us. We are involved in a month-long study of wisdom as taught in the Book of Proverbs. If you'd like to know more about The Passion Translation and why we are using it for this undertaking, you can find a recap near the end of today’s conversation.
We are continuing forward as we have now met up with day 18 of our extended odyssey. Our search and rescue mission for wisdom.
