This episode is a special one 🤍
A member of my community asked me to speak on this, and I was honestly so excited to sit with it and share everything I’ve learned and experienced.
If you’re a freshman or about to start college, this is for you.
In this episode, I walk you through simple, real-life ways to navigate this new season without feeling overwhelmed, lost, or alone.
Here are some of the things I shared:
- Go outside (yes, it matters more than you think)
- Be genuinely interested in others before talking about yourself
- Ask questions, stay curious, be open
- Be approachable — a simple smile goes a long way
- Learn communication skills: be assertive, say no, set boundaries
- Create a balance between your “time out” and “time in.”
- Respect yourself and others
And most importantly…
People will act how they want to act — let them.
Anchor yourself in faith, and trust in Hashem (G-d), and don’t forget to pray through every moment, especially when things feel overwhelming (and when they don't).
💬 Quick question for you:
If you’re no longer a freshman…
What is ONE piece of advice you would give to someone just starting college?
Drop it on any of my socials, and I might share it (with your name, (if you want)🤍)
