We continue our discussion of end times and what exactly our job is in the waiting.

Jesus warns his disciples to Stay Alert in the days to come. He wants all disciples able to recognize the signs of the time and to be spiritually prepared to endure. We are called to anticipate His return. So instead of being fearful we are to be excited that His return is near.

In this episode we will unpack 3 different traps that the entire establishment tried to set for Jesus. His wisdom and discernment seems to effortlessly stop them in their tracks and makes the crowd even more enamored with Him. We end this episode with what He truly is looking for… the person who gives it all to Him and leaves none for themselves. That person ends up gaining it all.

He teaches His disciples not to put faith in their own might, like Herod and the entire religious system does, but they too can move mountains by placing their faith in HIM as provider!

Are we just like these disciples when it comes to ego, power, and position! We have to root that out! We will end the discussion by discussing a bling man they encounter on the way up to Jerusalem and see what we can learn from him. He may be physically blind but He sees spiritually exactly who Jesus is!

Lol. Human nature always wants to be the best! We want to be powerful and great. Jesus spends some time explaining that in His kingdom the one who serves is the greatest. It’s an upside down kingdom.

In this episode we will discuss the Pharisees blindness. They elevated their own man made laws above God’s law. We do the same thing today! It’s called legalism. We will also discuss two healings in gentile territory. As the Jews grow in rejections the gentiles grow in faith. Jesus is definitely showing us he doesn’t use formula to heal and deliver. Each healing was to teach, challenge, and reveal something about God’s kingdom, faith and salvation to those who had eyes to see.
